My interpretation of what I think Peter S. Beagle's Unicorn looked like. As much as I loved the movie (before they edited the content for the DVD), the book will always be dear to my heart. It's one of the few books that I can read over and over again, and never get tired of it.

I wanted to try something soft and kinda "paintery" for the background, but it didn't turn out as dramatic as I had hoped. Of course, I'm admittedly not the best at backgrounds (though I am trying to improve), and I am my absolute worst critic when it comes to my work. :P

I love that it's not a cliche "happily ever after" tale. It's quite sad, but very beautiful.

Aw, thank you! I absolutely love The Last Unicorn book and movie. I recently discovered that there's a graphic novel version of it that I need to get my hands on. :giggle:

The movie is indeed very beautiful, I hope I can get my hands on the book someday, I'd really love to read it. I can't simply not stop staring at it's eye, good work there! Nothing is worse than when a creature's eyes looks "dead" when it comes to drawings. And I love the background, aswell with kinda much everything you produce in arts x):huggle:

The book is an amazing read. There's a lot that they left out in the movie that I think should have been included, but the movie would have been a LOT longer...not that I would have minded. :XD:
